When using CommBilling, the switch to a paid plan depends on your activity and the type of plan you choose.
Here’s a clear explanation to help you understand how it works.
How the Switch Works for Free-to-Install Plans
1. C-Starter Plan Activation
If you’re using the C-Starter Plan, it starts as a free-to-install plan with 15 free invoices per month. Here’s how the transition to a paid plan works:
- Free Usage Limit: Each month, you can generate up to 15 invoices for free. The count resets at the beginning of every month.
- Exceeding the Free Limit: If you generate more than 15 invoices in a given month, you will automatically be charged the €6.99 usage fee for that billing period. This ensures a seamless experience without service interruptions.
- Monthly Recurring Fee: After exceeding the free limit, the paid plan fee applies for that month only, based on your actual usage.
2. C-Business Plan Activation
If you opt for the C-Business Plan, it starts with a 7-day free trial. Here’s how the switch works:
- Trial Period: During the free trial, you can access all C-Business features without being charged.
- End of Trial: At the end of the trial period, your account will automatically switch to the C-Business Plan if you’ve provided payment details. The plan fee of €14.99 per month (or €164.89 annually if you chose the yearly option) will apply.
- Switching Back to C-Starter : If you decide not to continue with the C-Business Plan, you can manually downgrade to the C-Starter Plan before the trial ends.
Things to Note
- Transparency: You’ll always receive notifications or prompts when nearing the free limit or trial expiration, ensuring you know when a charge will occur.
- No Hidden Fees: All charges are based on your selected plan and usage, with no unexpected costs.
- Manual Changes: You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan anytime through your account settings.
In short, the switch to a paid plan is automatic once you exceed your free usage or complete a trial, ensuring uninterrupted access to CommBilling’s features.
